owl.carousel.js

I have OC 2.3.0.2 and I bought a theme that included owl.carousel.js version 1.x
I figured I would try to upgrade owl.carousel.js to V2 so I went to /catalog/view/javascript/jquery/ and I renamed owl-carousel.js and owl-carousel.min.js to !owl-carousel.js and !owl-carousel.min.js and I uploaded the V2 of those 2 files.
When I realized that my banners disappeared, I removed the newly added files and renamed my original files to their original names but the banners are still not working.
I see no error in the log.

Anything I can do to restore the banners?

I will respond to myself in case this can help anyone else. I cleared the cache on my browser and all is good.
