Hi Lasa2,

Opencart SEO Pack PRO doesn't contain an export extension, because it already contains SEO Report (to visualize SEO data) and Advanced SEO Editor (to edit SEO data) and yes, you can easily use copy/paste function from SEO Report into an excel document.

Hi dracoteam,

Canonical links are automatically created. You can read more about how canonical links are created for categories/brands/info and home pages on Canonical Categories & Brands extension's page (in its description and in comments area): http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=4225

Hi

I understand more or less how it works canonical url, what I don´t know is how do you choose the preferred url, is it automatic or manual choice? In other words, in the document you linked me, Matt Cutts says "Of all these pages with identical content, this page is the most useful. Please prioritize it in search results.". What I´m asking is, how do we say to Google "please choose this url, not others, to show in search results"?

Thanks again and sorry for my persistence :-(

Hi dracoteam,

Since a product or a category has multiple URLs in Opencart (as I said, they are used to create breadcrumbs), canonical links are used to prevent duplicates. You can read more about canonical links here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/139394?hl=en

Hi dracoteam,

Thank you for your interest in Opencart SEO Pack PRO.

1. Even you'll assign products to categories, their base SEO URLs (yoursite.com/product.html) will be available - if fact this is product's canonical link and beside it, your products will have SEO URLs like yoursite.com/category/product.html or yoursite.com/category/subcategory/product.html. The reason why a product has multiple URLs in Opencart is that Opencart uses them to create breadcrumbs.

2. You can edit SEO URLs (SEO Keywords) for products/categories/info/brands using Advanced SEO Editor - you can check the demo site.

3. Opencart SEO Pack PRO is not designed for redirects, but you can add redirect rules in .htaccess file.

That's awesome news...thanks!
I'm pretty new to extensions is the SEO Pack Pro (I know its vQmod) a complicated install like changing permisions or setting/linking an additional data base or is it a simple "xml" install.
Hoping for a simple xml addition...

Hi, your extension looks great, but three questions before buy

1.- I have a shop well positioned. I don´t have subcategories, but now we have too many products and we are thinking about create subcategories. If we use your extension with the new subcategories I will have this

domain/category1/category2/product

But I need to hide category2, I can´t make a 301 redirect for all products, so the easiest solution I think is to hide category2, in this case new and old url will be the same.

2.- This question is relationed with the other one. Is it possible to create the sef url manually? For example I would like to change category url for some articles

3.- I have some indexed urls that returns 404, do your seo extension have some redirect option?

Thanks

Hi utomo,

1. I'm glad you can resize them - Advanced SEO Editor is optimized for displaying and editing all SEO data, but as you found out, its extremely easy to enlarge its textboxes.
2. If you need to generate SEO URLs without .html extension, you can use SEO URLs Generator (Catalog -> SEO -> SEO Pack), delete its parameter (.html by default), Save Parameters and then generate SEO URLs - new generated SEO URLs will be without any extension.
3. Opencart SEO Pack PRO includes Custom Titles for products/categories/info/brands, so you can set custom title for categories where you'll edit them - Custom Title field is right below Name field.

Thanks for the reply.
1. I use Chrome, yes we can resize it. but better if you can show bigger box as default (without resizing) auto box size as when it is show normally.
2. I mean look at the seo editor, seo keyword> thers is still html. example apple-cinema-30.html. For the keyword, why we need html as keyword ? is this the pages ?
5. About custom title can be customized for each catagory. How to do this ? is there any guide ?
and is there any different if the SEO Extension installed after the product input and before input ? I hop No different.

Hi utomo,

Thank you for your interest in Opencart SEO Pack PRO.

Thank you for your suggestions, but all of them are already included in Opencart SEO Pack PRO:
1. Advanced SEO Editor uses textboxes for meta descriptions which can be enlarged as you want (depending on your browser).
2. You can set any parameter for SEO URLs Generator (.html, .php., .asp...) or you can even remove it and then Save Parameters.
3. You can set any parameter for Custom Titles Generator ( %p - Custom Title created by Opencart SEO Pack PRO was set for demo site).
4. Opencart SEO Pack PRO already contains Instant SEO which, if it's enabled, automatically generates/completes SEO data when a product is inserted/edited.

It is better if custom title can be customized for each catagory.

There are some typo error. please check for :
withat > Without
cutom > custom

On SEO Editor,
When we want to edit the meta Description, it become 2 line only. I think it must show all line instead only 2.
SEO keyword must remove the html, htm, php and other common things
On custom title, please remove : " Custom Title created by Opencart SEO Pack PRO"
And other smarter Auto SEO
Thanks

Hi Matras,

The above format is not supported (you can check Opencart SEO Pack PRO's user guide and About column for supported formats and parameters for each generator), but you can use the full text for the above example (Hello world1! Hello world2! Hello world3!).

One more question is it possible if put text like this: Hello {world1/world2/world3}!, in generation field. it will generate one words by circle.
Like this: Hello world1!
Hello world2!
Hello world3!
