This useful script will help you import VirtueMart Information in Opencart.

How it works?

1. Export all tables from your Joomla/Virtuemart database to an sql file

2. Open your Opencart database and import above sql file

3. Upload the files of my script to sub directory in Opencart. Example: /public_html/shop/migrate/

4. Open index.php of the script with text editor

5. Add Opencart database connection variables.

6. Add your prefixes here

$prefixjoomla = 'as_';
$prefixopencart = '';

7. Add your currency code:

$currency = 'EUR';

8. Change this variable to false if you don't want script to copy the images

$copy_images = true; => $copy_images = false;

9. Write paths to your temp folder or where your virtuemart images are stored

10. Change the message that will be sended from password generation tool in this variable:

$message = "Hello ".$firstname." ".$lastname." \nThis is your new password for www.yourshopname.com\nPassword: ".$password;

11. Access site for yoursiteurl.com/migrate/ and run step 1, step 2 and when u finish configuring your shop step 3 (Password generation tool)
