UltraImageManager

Opencart Version:
Extension for Opencart 2.0.1.1. But it should also work in other versions of opencart since 2.0 (no guarantee).

Description
This extension will save you a lot of work when creating new products in opencart and inserting images to them. It will remember the last visited folder and allows you to insert multiple images to the currently edited product by selecting them with checkboxes. First image from selection will be inserted as primary and others as additional. You can also set different primary image from selection by clicking on plus icon bellow. File Manager window is bigger than the original and shows two more products in the page for faster image look up.

Installation
1. In your opencart admin go to "Extensions -> Extension Installer" and upload ocmod xml file "UltraImageManager.ocmod.xml" (Note: After successful upload will be"Continue" button disabled. It's normal.)

2. IMPORTANT: In opencart admin go to "Extensions -> Modifications". Make sure that UltraImageManager is enabled and CLICK ON "REFRESH" BLUE BUTTON on the top of the page. It creates new files in virtual environment. Without this it won't work.

3. With your ftp manager go to folder ../admin/view/javascript and replace original common.js file with new one. MAKE BACKUP of the old one.

4. In your browser go to the store admin and open edit form of any product. Press ctrl + f5 to load new common.js file into the browser cache.


Usage
With checkboxes select images you want to insert to the current product and click on the green button on the top of file manager. This button adds selected images to the product with the default order. That means that first image is set as default and others are set as additional images in the image tab.

When you select multiple images and you want to select different image as default then select desired images and click on the plus button under the image you want as default. This image will be set as default and the others as additional in the image tab.

Default behavior is intact and works as before. That means that you can still click on whatever image and insert only that one.

This extension cannot handle multiple images upload to your server. The reason is because it's much more easier to upload more images using ftp client as Filezilla than with Image Manager.

We are using this extension as it is for our online store. It really saves us a lot of time. Hopefully it will be useful for you too. If so please say thank you. If not leave a comment. Maybe somebody helps you. I made this extension in very short time so it isn't perfect and has some bugs. It works well when adding images to the product with no additional images. When there are some it will overwrite them and creates another empty slot(s). Improving this issue could be a challenge for somebody.....
