This extesion adds 4 modules to your opencart.
That can be used to display google adsense ads or any Text/Html you throw in it.
Works perfect in 1.5.0. may may work in other versions. no harm in checking as there are no overwrtites.

####INSTLLATION###
Copy or upload "admin and catalog" folders into your opencart installation root directory.
"NO OVERWRITES"
Once uploaded
1- Log in as admin to opencart
2- Go to Extention>Module section
3- You should see 4 modules named
(1)"Kinza Adsense"
(2)"Kinza Adsense 2"
(3)"Kinza Adsense 3"
(4)"Kinza Adsense 4"

4- Click on INSTALL to install the modules
5- Click on EDIT to enter your Google Adsense code in the text box and Click on ADD MoDULE button to specify where on the page you want to show it. (see image)
TIP: If you are running standard template on your site, USE verticle ads for side bars and horizental for TOP and Bottom.
I have only checked it on version 1.5.0
