Do you want to remove the AFFILIATE link from your store? This VQMod does just that.... It is simple to install and run. Plus this does not remove any affiliate link functions, just removes the link to the affiliate log-in page.

This has been tested on 1.5.x and works in the Current Version 1.5.4.1

Installation Instructions: (included in the download)

1. Download the affiliate_link_remover.zip file
2. Unzip file (affiliate_link_removal.xml)
3. Log into your store website.
4. Locate the (VQMOD) folder.
5. Import the file [affiliate_link_removal.xml] to the (VQMOD folder)....

6. Change: On Line 7 {<file name="catalog/view/theme/YOUR_THEME_NAME_HERE/template/common/footer.tpl">}, to your
theme name (YOUR_THEME_NAME_HERE) to your actual theme name
(example: <file name="catalog/view/theme/default/template/common/footer.tpl"> )

7. Save the change then refresh file....

Finally......

Go to your favorite web browser....Refresh your web browser (used to view your live store).. and wholla.... Link removed....
