Extension Features:

Create as many extra tabs as you need, in any position relative to the standard OpenCart tabs.
Edit tab content with a WYSIWYG editor.
Add one or more of the created tabs to any product.
Each product only has the tabs you have added to it.
The content of each tab on each product is separate
Multi language support for the extra tabs created

Supported Themes:

Admin Themes and Other Extensions:

It may or may not work with a non-default Admin theme, it has only been tested with the default theme without any other extensions installed

UnSupported Themes:

It may or may not work with other themes.
Not compatible with MijoShop or AceShop
Integration with other themes is available as a paid service, please send me a message to request a price.

If anyone wants to contribute a language translation I will add it, there is a file in the zip of the translations I need.

Notes:

I have only personally tried it on OpenCart versions 1.5.4.1 and 1.5.5.1
I do not have the time to try it on other versions for you. As it is a free extension please download it and try it yourself.
The other OpenCart versions listed as compatible are based on reports from other people who have tried it and reported that it works.
Reports of other OpenCart versions it works with are welcome.

Support

I created this extension to solve a need I had. It is offered free, I will try to answer questions if possible, when time permits.
I will not be back-porting this to any other version, sorry!
I will NOT be adding any further features, if you need more features or support, there are paid extensions out there, that you can purchase if you need the features they offer.

Extension Version Comments:

The test version fixes a bug when used with OC 1.5.5.1, includes Russian, German, Dutch and Chinese (Taiwanese Mandarin) translations, beta support for the fancycart theme and improved support for shoppica2.2

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please ensure you have followed each of these steps BEFORE seeking help.

Ensure you have vqmod installed.
Unzip the extra_product_tabs_vx.x.x.zip file
Upload the contents of the "Upload" directory to the root directory of your OpenCart installation

-- No files are overwritten unless you are upgrading this extension
If you installed an earlier version of this extension please remove the file 'vqmod/xml/extra_product_tab.xml'
Optional - If using another Admin language that is supported.

Upload the contents of the directory
Other Admin Languages/'Language Name'/Upload
For Example
Other Admin Languages/greek/Upload
to the root directory of your OpenCart installation

-- No files are overwritten unless you are upgrading this extension
Optional - If you are using another Theme that is supported

Upload the contents of the directory
Other Themes/'Theme Name'/Upload

From the admin menu, go to 'Admin->Users->User Groups'.
Select the "Top Administrator" (Unless you are using some other group)
Check the entries for 'catalog/tab' giving both modify and access permission, then save
From the admin menu, go to 'Catalogue->Extra Product Tab' and create the extra product tabs you need.
From the admin menu, go to 'Catalogue->Products' and edit a product, you should see an extra 'tab' called 'Extra Tabs' which will allow you to add an extra tab to a product.
