Re: Home Breadcrumb URL

I found it, in the controller files for each page type.

What I have noticed too is that on the information pages the Breadcrumb Menu doesn't use the SEO URL so is creating a link to an identical page.

Using version 1.4.7

Home Breadcrumb URL

I have been changing the links in my store that navigate to the homepage to just use HTTP_SERVER rather than index.php?route=common/home to avoid unnecessary canonical URL problems. I have done this for the log and home page links, simple enough, but just wondering where the Home URL for the Breadcr...

Re: eBay integration

Looks interesting, i'm actually working on something similar myself.

The bit about checking out via the OC store is really interesting, I haven't looked at that, does the eBay API really allow payment to be diverted away from their options?

Re: Currencies Explaination

To be honest you don't really need multiple currencies and if you are selling physical products I would always remove the options. No major retailer gives you a choice of currency to pay with. As you say the payment processor will convert at their own rate and may charge you extra for the privilege....

Re: New site design

Looks like you have the logo working again but I have to agree with others, it's such a small detail but the white edges makes a massive difference to the appearance of the site. You might not see the importance yourself but that really could affect your conversion rate. Also, a real bugbear of mine...

Re: How to sort products?

If it's a custom mod for your store you can just change the SQL queries in catalog/model/catalog/product.php     public function getProductsByCategoryId($category_id, $sort = 'pd.name', $order = 'ASC', $start = 0, $limit = 20) {         $sql = "SELECT *, pd.name AS name, p.image, m.name AS manufactu...

Re: Cart won't work in modded template

peterban wrote: But cart in header doesn't refresh on click :)
Have you updated the div id in the Ajax code. Look at the bottom of catalog/view/theme/YOURTHEME/template/module/cart.tpl

There is 1 occurance of #module_cart .middle and 3 of #module_cart to replace with whatever div id you are using in the header.

Re: How to create/duplicate a module?

OK, i'm pretty certain i've got the Admin side fixed now, I hadn't replaced the category variables which store the position value.
