Re: EPOS Systems?

As per normal I post my question after much searching and THEN I find my answer.

They confirmed they can integrate with Opencart, and it seems that almost any can (or they all claim they can do it for me).

Awesome.

EPOS Systems?

Hi guys, Currently running 1.5.4.1 and have been wanting to upgrade/totally revamp our website for a while now, so was thinking of starting again with 2.0. Are there any EPOS systems that can integrate with this version? We have two shops and have been wanting an epos system for a while now, but as ...

Re: Formatting on invoice template change?

Hi,

I've realised it's because I changed the text in the shipping to something that was too long, so it destroyed the formatting. Now I can't mark the goods as shipped.

Is there any other way of marking goods as shipped?

Formatting on invoice template change?

Hi, The format on the invoice has changed. I'll get pics up asap to properly explain it. But what has happened is that the bottom row (product, model, price, etc) is aligned with the 'Order ID' bit of the top column rather than between that column and the last one (shipping method). So it's all squa...

Restrict Payment option on certain category

Hi, Tried searching but can't find something that would do this. Basically I have a store that works fine and the shipments and payment methods work. However we're adding a new category of products that we can't guarantee availability of stock. So I need some way of ensuring they need to call/e-mail...

Drop down cart goes to https (1.5.1.3)

When you click on view cart in the drop down cart it sends you to the the cart page over https, but when you click the shopping cart link at the top it goes to http. In https the cart can't be updated and shows an unsecure error. Is there a way to either make the cart work under https, or make the d...

Re: (1.5.1.3) PCI-DSS compliance fail - ssl

Ah, okay. I can't believe I missed the port part. There's a service on your host (webdisk maybe?) accepting non-ssl connections at that port. If you run your own VPS/server the simplest thing to do is just block the port or disable the service. If you're on a shared host you'll need to contact tech...

Re: (1.5.1.3) PCI-DSS compliance fail - ssl

Right tried it again after forcing https on contact us, returns, affiliates, login, cart, checkout etc. ALL pages that do anything were https, and still failed. All I get told is the port: 2077

Anyone got any idea?

Re: (1.5.1.3) Force https on certain page

Right the code above works fine in forcing these pages to use ssl. The problem is the contact us page (which is making me fail my pci scans) so I added the information/contact to that code and it worked perfectly... except the contact us form stopped working. What do I need to change to make the con...

Re: Force HTTPS on certain pages

If this breaks the 'add to cart' function on your shopping cart change the .htaccess as follows; # Require SSL for sensitive areas RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} checkout|account [NC] RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !checkout/cart/update [NC] RewriteRule (.*) https://www.yourstore...

Re: (1.5.1.3) PCI-DSS compliance fail - ssl

Bugger, forcing https onto the contact us page stops it working. The returns page works fine though. Taken it off contact us page, kept it everywhere else and have resent it for another scan. I disputed the apache version and that was accepted. Do pci compliance people always give such little inform...

Re: (1.5.1.3) PCI-DSS compliance fail - ssl

Right forced https for ALL pages that take info. The admin login page, the client login, the cart, checkout, returns and the contact us page. Removed the affiliates page. Let's see if this passes. If it doesn't then I really can't see what isn't using https. All done through .htaccess Update: By for...

Re: (1.5.1.3) PCI-DSS compliance fail - ssl

Right managed to fix this using #Force SSL RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on RewriteRule ^/?(checkout|account) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L] RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=off You can no longer manually force http which is what rph suspected was the problem and now the site works fin...

Re: (1.5.1.3) Force https on checkout/account pages

I think I've solved it, changed it to this #Force SSL RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on RewriteRule ^/?(checkout|account) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L] RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=off and it seems to now work. Going to run a pci-dss scan and see if that's ok. Does anything about i...
