Re: Help creating a info window

Thanks mona. Just what I was looking for. Had to make some adjustments for two data-toggles and for it to work in a loop, but works great.

Re: Help creating a info window

No, those take you to the front page. I'm looking for a popup window when I click view to put some product information in. For now I just used a <span> and tool tip, but it's not really working for me because I can't get the window formatting the way I want.

Re: Help creating a info window

Well seeing that I said, "THAT SOMEONE CAN THINK OF" I would hope that someone would realize that meant someone's experience with an extension that may be dedicated to that feature OR even have that feature incorporated somehow, vs me expecting someone to go and search for something for me...

Help creating a info window

I want to create an external/popup window on the admin product list page to show certain information about whichever product I click(I'll be adding a button)...sort of like a quickview I guess. Is there a free mod someone can think of that I can look into and see how to accomplish this and adapt it ...

Re: Improve code for faster response time

Something is off between what this is producing and the full code that I have, I don't know what it is right now I'll have to tinker with it, but for the most part it seems to be working now without an error. Thanks.

[SOLVED] Getting information out of a page question

What is the best/most reliable way of getting information to print out in a function. There have been quite a few times/pages that I have tried to get information out of an array by using either print_r or echo and when I insert those functions it either kills the function they are in or doesn't rea...

[SOLVED] Improve code for faster response time

I came up with this thing but I need it to run faster. Can this be improved for a faster response time? //QUery the size items $sqlquery = $this->db->query("SELECT pa.product_id, q.name, p.model, p.image, p.price, p.date_added FROM " . DB_PREFIX . "product p LEFT JOIN " . DB_PREF...

Re: Special access during maintenance?

Thanks all. I ended up going a different route before I saw this last post. I decided to copy the site, and put the duplicate site behind an htpasswd, and put a link to the duplicate site on the primary site's maintenance page. This gives me all the functionality I need. @pprmkr I'll test out that m...

Re: 404 errors

Thanks, but that wasn't the issue. I had a default htaccess with the dir to start, and it wasn't working. That's just what I finally ended up with. Either way, I reinstalled a couple more times and it finally took.

[SOLVED] 404 errors

I installed a new 3.0.3.8 OC in a subdirectory. I then copied my main site over that subdirectory. I then updated all the config files. I then deleted the contents of the htaccess and just put in a rewrite for this subdir. I then imported the main sites database to the subdir database. So as it stan...

Re: Special access during maintenance?

@straightlight I was looking for an easy free solution, it's just for a one time need. @paulfeakins forgot about htpassword, good thought, but I was hoping to avoid all of ht stuff because I have a signup and quick info on the maintenance page I wanted to display...I'm assuming with the htpassword I...
