Re: Able to add new image to any Catalog > Gallery. Except one
Ah - that's a good question. I have inherited the site from another developer and kind of presumed the Gallery was a core feature. But now I see there is a modification for Combo Gallery Album. https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=30639&filter_memb...

Re: Able to add new image to any Catalog > Gallery. Except one
Hmm
If I remove one image from the problem gallery I can add another.
So it seems like the gallery is full - one out one in!
So a gallery has a maximum of 196 images.
Hmm Wonder if I can extend that.

Re: Able to add new image to any Catalog > Gallery. Except one
Thanks @straightlight
Hmm a good suggestion but I can add the image to any of the other galleries - just not the problem gallery.
Will try to remove one image from the gallery and add again to see if it’s a problem of capacity. (Which would seem a bit weird.)

Able to add new image to any Catalog > Gallery. Except one
Hi Community I would be grateful for any help on this problem. I can add a new image to any Catalog > Gallery. Except one! The one I cannot add to happens to be the largest with 197 images. I renamed the '/image/cache' directory in the hope that it had grown too large (56Mb) - and another has been d...

Returns Form Notification
Hi Just discovered (or rediscovered maybe) that the default returns form does not send a notification email to the Site Admin on Submission. I see the return form submission is logged in the Admin dashboard under Sales. And I am receiving contact form submissions. I was recommended MailOnReturn by i...

Important information about Instant Payments Notification (IPN)
Hi Forum PayPal sent the email copied below to us. I don't think we need to do anything here as we are simply using PayPal Payment Standard in the core OC install. We are not implementing any Access Control List (ACL) or filters on IP addresses for the IPNs received from PayPal. I'd be grateful if y...

Re: Modifications not working following upgrade
Thanks
I managed to resolve all my problems by making a copy of the live website.
I wasn't able to update to a later version (than 3.0.3.2) or import the live database in to a clean 3.0.3.2 install.
But both fails probably reflect my inexperience with OC.
I'm happy with what I have achieved.

An update... I have reversed out of an upgrade as problematic (noted above). I've installing the same version as the live site (v.3.0.3.2) and then copied across the live database, ../storage directory, /vqmods directory . The staging website's extensions > modifications > dashboard now looks much b...

Re: Modifications not working following upgrade
Thanks for help. Really appreciate your help. I didn't install these extensions / mods which explains why I'm really unsure how to troubleshoot. The Modification dashboard looks like this on the live site. https://www.cricketcap.co.uk/OCMod-OK.jpg And like this on the upgraded staging site https://w...

Modifications not working following upgrade
Hi Community I'm trying to upgrade my OC website from Version 3.0.2.0 to Version 3.0.3.6. I wondered if the problem might be to do with the files...

Re: Home / Stores / Settings > Save disabled
I suggest to install a fresh new instance of OpenCart 2.3.0.2 in a subfolder. Then check the database of the updated store and adjust if required. After that, copy the tables to the new instance via phpMyAdmin. If all done and all checks are successful, you can either point the store to that subfol...

Re: Home / Stores / Settings > Save disabled
Thats Awesome. Thanks very very much.

Requirements say at least 5.4 so I'll presume 7.4 is fine until I experience otherwise.

Re: Home / Stores / Settings > Save disabled
Thanks. I think I follow.
I had decided I would create a new subdomain and run a fresh install and compare my config.php and /admin/config.php files.
And Yes as you suggest I can compare databases too.
I think you're suggesting I move the updated site step by step into the fresh install?

Re: Home / Stores / Settings > Save disabled
Hmm. Perhaps.
I have so many warnings and notices as result of the upgrade / migration to the new server I think I'll focus on clearing some of those down first.
(I went into Home / Stores / Settings in order to turn off the errors and got sidetracked by the fact I couldn't save!)
