First of all: PC or MAC?
Second, why IP-Address and not localhost (as this is the standard address with XAMPP).
Third, what does the developer console say about that not loading images?

.. I have installed a new extension into the system and since then I am getting an error .. You say it by yourself: has nothing todo with OpenCart, the "eval" is the new Extension. Either fix it by yourself, contact the extension developer or post a new request in the Commercial Forum of OpenCart
