I have the sql file backup that I made through the shop admin, but I can't access admin now to restore it? Can I use this file to restore my database through phpMyAdmin4? Or am I better off trying to get the host to roll it back?

I didn't do enough research before attempting to upgrade from 1.5.6.4 to 2.2.0.0 and couldn't get past the Upgrade screen.
