Re: FREE Shipping BUG v1.5+

Hi Daniel, I thought it's my hosting or template problem, but I installed default opencart 1.5.1.2 on two different servers and get same result, so it's unlikely something I'm doing wrong.. Tested in in Chrome, Firefox and on two different computers. I recorded a video to show you how it goes: http:...

Re: FREE Shipping BUG v1.5+

Forgot to mention, I'm using latest OC 1.5.1.2, but this worked in 1.5.1.1. too.

Could anyone confirm it's not just my configuration?

Re: FREE Shipping BUG v1.5+

Uhmm, ... you also need to have a shipping method available for purchases below (or equal to) ... Install a second shipping method! This doesn't solve the problem and actually it IS a bug . Steps: - Install any shipping methods + free shipping, set it to over £10 (example). - log in as customer, ad...

Re: OpenCart 1.6.0 Roadmap

Ability to display product options with ADD TO BASKET button next to them would be nice. Many stores offer products with only 2-3 options available (if any) and it would make selection a bit easier, if instead of radio buttons or dropboxes, we'd have: Star Wars t-shirt S [add to basket] M [add to ba...

[REQUEST] Disable shopping cart saving [SOLVED]

Some of my customers are confused by shopping cart being saved when they log off. Basically, customer adds items to the basket, decides not to buy and logs off, most of them don't bother to read message explaining cart being saved or simply forget about it soon. Same customer comes back in few days/...

Re: Saving shooping cart

I would actually prefer to disable this option completely in this case. Users are not aware of it (nobody reads explanation on screen when they log off), and customers who want to save items for later use Wish List option.

Can this be easily disabled?

Saving shooping cart [solved]

I wonder if anyone else find saving shopping cart a bit confusing. It works fine if user logs in using 'login' link on the top of the page - cart box is updated immediately with both old and new items counted, but not when he logs in at checkout page. Process looks like this: Customer logged in, add...

Re: What will be the next opencart update 1.5.0.6 or 1.5.1

The beta upgrade script will be updated to handle upgrading from 1.5.0.x to 1.5.1 including options very shortly. It still will not do options from 1.4.x to 1.5.x however. It can be found at http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=33797 Thanks, that will be great. I don't mind loosing product...

Re: What will be the next opencart update 1.5.0.6 or 1.5.1

Thanks for the answer.. Never mind upgrading 1.4.x to 1.5.x, I understand that many parts were rewritten and I'm absolutely fine with this. Problem is that I installed 1.5.0.5 recently, spent quite a while entering products, configuring store etc, and now 1.5.1 which fixes few things I had problems ...

Re: What will be the next opencart update 1.5.0.6 or 1.5.1

See, this is exactly approach I am talking about.. "get lost, we won't miss you". I donated to OC project a while ago, so contributed my two cents to the project. But even despite that, all simple questions "when can we expect it" gather replies similar to yours. Smiling is also FREE, but helps buil...

Re: What will be the next opencart update 1.5.0.6 or 1.5.1

I can't post on FAQ forum so I'll ask my question here if you don't mind. I am now building my online shop, paid for the graphic design, paid for the template that is now being prepared based on the graphics, and frankly I am not very happy with "it's your problem" approach to upgrades. So far I've ...
