Sorry if this has been covered but are there any plans to restore developers' ability to manage / edit comments on our extension pages?

2.3.0.0 and 2.3.0.1 Download links are wrong

Both 2.3.0.0 and 2.3.0.1 return a 2.3.0.2 download. These versions are still available on github but Opencart.com should fix the links here: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=cms/download/history https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=cms/download/download&download_id=46 https://www.opencar...

Re: My Account link broken on Opencart.com

Exactly - which is wrong. Once you're logged in, it should take you to your account console. If you copy and paste the link and add your current token it works. There's just no way that it's supposed to be like that - if you navigate away somewhere you essentially have no way back to the account men...

Re: Upgrade

I'm well aware of Q's revised upgrade script, however it still doesn't explain why this text file even exists in the new version. It seems to be completely irrelevant. No? Am I missing something here?

Why is there a file with the heading: /////////////////////////////////////// /// OpenCart V1.5.x TO 1.5.x /// /// Upgrade Instructions /// /// http://www.opencart.com /// /////////////////////////////////////// In the Opencart 2.2.0.0 installation folder? Are there people out there downloading Open...

Extension Specials, Cyber Monday, etc

Sure would be nice if we had a way to run specials and/or participate in a site wide special for these wonderful holidays that drive the world of online sales. This would benefit Opencart, developers and consumers. Win, win, win. I can adjust my prices but there's nothing quite like that regular pri...

Re: Updates to Extension Store Notification Emails

Two things: 1) Please remove the requirement or at least the minimum character length for the new "Reason for edit" field. I find myself doing a keyboard mash frequently. Often we forget something simple like updating a line in the documentation or uploading a new thumbnail. I just updated three ext...

Re: Database Errors After Upgrade to 2.1.0.1

The upgrade script doesn't appear to do anything. When I ran the upgrade on an install from 2.0.0.0. to 2.1.0.1 it finished in about 0.1 seconds and there were no changes to my database. I ended up creating all the tables by hand and had to recreate the various layouts for extensions. What gives her...

Re: ban hackers

Yeah agreed - securing with password is a good idea. For those using apache v2.4+ it's really easy with htaccess as long as you have a static ip. <RequireAny> require ip 123.456.789.000 </RequireAny> Unfortunately many ISP's don't offer that for residential service. In regards to moving admin folder...

Re: ban hackers

Security through obscurity is certainly one approach, but it is drawbacks. One problem with renaming admin is when you have an installation with 70 vQmods - all of which look for the admin folder at the expected path. Then there's the inconvenience of every single time you upload an extension which ...

Extension Store Improvements

It would be great to see some real revisions and improvements therein. The image resolution has always been borderline unusable and the whole layout is looking rather 2000's. A responsive design and some general improvements are overdue on opencart.com in general. If any of the devs care to inbox me...
