Re: Add button from extensions module

Since addModule() does not call any Ajax, I'm guessing other ajax call on that module failed and caused all other javascript to fail. Is there any XHR policy on the live server that is hindering the ajax call? Besides the error message from IE, do you get any other response or error from json or da...

Re: Add button from extensions module

The three elements are indeed in the file since I do understand these are required as I have already developed numerous modules on OpenCart. As for another live server, unfortunately no but I do can return response with alert obviously. The problem is not with JS but rather with Ajax response.

Hi thorworx, if you need to add a static fixed text to all your invoices, you can just modify invoice template file: \admin\view\template\sale\order_invoice.tpl Not so difficult, you just need some basic knowledge of HTML/PHP M This would still require the checkout process to be completed but this ...

Re: Add button from extensions module

Right now, it seems to be a global problem no matter from which module this is being outputted whenever I seem to copy from one module to another but when I do this, for instance, from wamp, I don't have any problems. This problem only occurs when doing this from live servers for an unknown reason. ...

Re: Reviews only by registerd users, HOW

Did you also followed the last step ? I did edited the topic but may be a bit too late before you saw my above reply. Make sure to create the catalog/model/catalog/review_customers.php file and follow last instructions. Then, try again.

Re: Reviews only by registerd users, HOW

It would be quite a MOD. Let's find out if this can be done. In catalog/controller/product/product.php file, find: $this->data['tab_description'] = $this->language->get('tab_description'); add above: $this->load->model('catalog/review_customers'); $this->data['review_customers'] = $this->model_catal...

Re: Reviews only by registerd users, HOW

It may be reliable on JSON response request ... do you see this line from catalog/controller/product/product.php file ? $json['success'] = $this->language->get('text_success'); ? If so, go to your admin - > system - > error logs and see if there's a fresh error regarding the review for products.

Re: Reviews only by registerd users, HOW

The success text is already implemented when posting a review. From your catalog/language/english/product/product.php file, do you have the following entry: $_['text_success'] = 'Thank you for your review. It has been submitted to the webmaster for approval.'; ? In the mean time, from catalog/contro...

Re: simple sku search addition to v1.4.x?

I'm seeing twice the pd.name field in the LCASE ... I believe it would be: LCASE(pd.name) LIKE '%" . $this->db->escape(utf8_strtolower($word)) . "%' OR LCASE(p.sku) LIKE '%" . $this->db->escape(utf8_strtolower($word)) . "%' to search by product name or product sku. For models along with the product ...

Re: Display model number in related products

You're making the right choice by displaying the products by SKU politically. Most eCommerce manufacturers does not provide this solution while this should be included at least as an option. :)

Re: Display model number in related products

Inclusively, yes.

However, you'd also need to state the following from admin/controller/catalog/product.php file

where:

Code: Select all

'name'       => html_entity_decode($result['name'], ENT_QUOTES, 'UTF-8'),
'model'      => $result['model'],
to add below:

Code: Select all

'sku'      => $result['sku'],

Re: Display model number in related products

Untested so make a backup of admin/view/template/catalog/product_form.tpl file,

in this section:

Code: Select all

$('input[name=\'related\']').autocomplete({
find:

Code: Select all

label: item.name,
replace with:

Code: Select all

label: item.name + '(' + item.model + ')',
This could probably work.
