Correct, as long as the OpenCart version 4.x are not stable enough, I do not support them.

We are also waiting for the next release before updating too many of ours.

OpenCart 3.0.3.8 is not compatible with PHP 8.1 so that could be part of your problem.

Ah yes, I did Google this for sub-stores so assumed Google would have returned a relevant result but it seems not.

Have you looked for extensions to do this yet?

I would like to make development locally, in order to easily make changes to the website and make development f I don't think that would make development faster. Personally I think a better workflow is working on a dev copy of the website but on a server that's configured the same way as the live.

I need to deactivate a multistore so it cannot be used by customers. The store is one of several multistores under a single opencart 3.08 installation. Ideally if anyone lands on any of its pages, they will see a message saying the store is not currently in business. I would be grateful for advice ...
