Re: Home Page Upgrade

This package has been uploaded to the OpenCart contributions site to make it more available. I've done this primarily because some commercial company's web browser's security phishing filter doesn't seem to like my security certificate. I host my own site on my own machine from home, and created my ...

Re: Home Page Upgrade

First of all, I would like to say thank you to those who have visited my site and shown their interest. And secondly, I've just updated this package to include a sort order and an image handle. The images swap sides on the home page depending on whether the sort order is odd or even. Regards, Fido-X.

Re: Top Banner Slogan and how to change it

Hi Joey, In the file "catalog/template/default/css/default.css", you'll find a section starting with the following code:- #header .a { background: url('../image/logo.png') no-repeat; behavior: url('catalog/javascript/png/iepngfix.htc'); The referenced image is located in the "catalog/template/defaul...

Home Page Upgrade

Hi Everybody, This is my first "real" contribution to the community, apart from a couple of templates I uploaded to the OpenCart contributions site. Thank you to those who have been downloading them. From browsing the forums, I have noticed that there is a desire to control the contents of the home ...

Re: How can I Change the Information text

The language file for the "Information" module is located at "(your store)/catalog/language/english/extension/module/information.php".

As for the text that is displayed on the Information page itself, this is extracted from the database.

Re: download

This might help. Log in to your admin. Select "Admin->Configuration->Setting". Under the "Local" tab you will find an entry labelled "Order Status", probably with a value of "Pending". If you set the "Order Status" value  and the "Download Status" value under the "Download" tab to match, you should ...

Re: Account Downloads Blank Page

I also had this problem.

One way of resolving this, is by logging into my database using phpMyAdmin and edit the download tables manually. Another way, is by deleting your existing entries, then re-inserting them - making sure to set the "mask" and "remaining" values BEFORE saving.

Re: LINKS

Hi Alien, The direct link to the "About Us" information page can be accessed with -       "index.php?controller=information&information_id=1" But there is a better way to gain database control over your home page. I have just released a "Homepage Upgrade" pack that includes all the necessary control...

Re: PLEASE HELP - cache.php

Hi Bruce,

Sorry about that, ignore that last post. Although it appears to have an extra closing brace, if I remove it, the whole site breaks. I was wrong.

Re: PLEASE HELP - cache.php

Hey Bruce, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I think you made a mistake in your code. Where you've got - <?php class Cache { var $expire = 3600;   function __construct()     {     $files = glob(DIR_CACHE . 'cache.*');         if ($files)         {             foreach ($files as $file)        ...

Re: Warning: Image cache directory needs to be writable for OpenCart to work!

That's right there's no real difference between chmod 666 and chmod 777 other than the executable, so either should work.

You need to chmod 666 (or 777) BOTH the image directory AND the image/cache directory.

Re: how can i change the checkout button

You've missed a closing angle bracket on the opening anchor tag. The line should read -

Code: Select all

<a href="<?php echo $checkout; ?>"><img src="catalog/template/default/image/chechout.png" width="88" height="25" /></a>
Hope this helps.
