Re: email system not working

You may be best off asking your web host first as issues like this are often to do with the server.

Re: Create opencart listings from Ebay listings for me

Lavster wrote:I have channelgrabber so im looking for someone to do a bit of admin work and copy of all my listings to OpenCart.
Surely ChannelGrabber itself can do this?

If not, have you looked at using OpenBay Pro which is built in to OpenCart from version 1.5.6?

Re: Multi Parent Category

I'm not sure categories is the right way to go for this.

You can probably achieve what you want by using product attributes and an extension like this one:

Re: Speed up home page loading and search

Are you already using an extension like Jeff Hunter's excellent "Increase Page Speed"? http://www.opencart...

Re: Automated Random Specials

It's an interesting idea but I'd be a bit concerned as a store owner that my ecommerce store would randomly start discounting products which I didn't have much stock of. I guess the code could account for that though. Would the extension also need to put those specials on to the front page and promo...

Re: Barcode Stock Control

It might make more sense to use a separate Warehouse Management System or Order Management System such as Linnworks and then connect that to OpenCart for this sort of functionality...

Re: NEW ORDER ALERT EMAIL STOPPED WORKING

Sounds like if no code changes were made to OpenCart it must be to do with the hosting or the email.

How is your email actually set up? Is it also being hosted by GoDaddy? Or is it separate like Google Apps or a Hotmail address?

Please remember this is the commercial forum.
