Re: Product category with custom link

In controller/product/category.php there's a categories array:

Code: Select all

$data['categories'] = array();
If you know, how to handle VQMod, you can override the link for category with the certain ID.

It's hard to say, what exactly is wrong, because you didn't provide your code. Copy your code here and I might point you on some inconsistencies.

Re: How to: split order to different supplier

We have a Split Order extension on the OpenCart Store, which splits orders by products. I think, it will meet your needs. You can simply select products from one supplier and split them into new order with just one click.

Re: Google Sitemap Feed date error

I also have the same issue, can someone explain how to fix this issue. The server time is correct. It's not a server time, it's a wrong date_modified value for some products. There's a simple query given above - just run it and it should fix the issue. I'd also suggest you to replace default sitema...

Re: Undefined Error when trying to add product to cart

Guess, I have an idea. See, JavaScript's "Undefined error" sometimes pops, when page wasn't completely loaded, but button been clicked. Basically, with this click you interrupt loading of some script and error is thrown. It is possible to hide this error, but you need to find, which script exactly t...

Re: Add to Cart button change color OC vs. 2.3.0.2

It's hard to give any advice, because we don't know your CSS definitions. But try to find hover, active and focus events for Add to Cart button. Or define your own using "!important" tag after each definition.

Re: how i can remove this?

I would never ever recommend you to hide this, because, like it was said above, it can bring you unexpected results and tons of headache to your customers. Registered customers will still be able to add a new address in their account anyway.

Re: How to delete all products from several categories

The best way to do this is directly in database editor like PHPMYAdmin. The query is a bit complext though.

Re: Product/Category ID Reset

There's a simple query for that:

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE category AUTO_INCREMENT = 1
ALTER TABLE product AUTO_INCREMENT = 1
Don't forget to add DB prefix to table names, if you have one.

Re: problem with registration

Hi thekrotek my hosting provider is looking at it at the mo. If they come up with nothing I will give you a shout. Also would it be better, quicker and cheaper to upgrade to the newest version and pay someone to do a database transfer from 2.0.2.0 to the new version? It'll definitely be faster. But ...

Well, in short, some registration related script doesn't see these values, despite they're defined in config files. Not sure why this happens. Might be a badly coded 3rd party extension, for example. Might be something else.

Hi IP_CAM You're right and I'm sorry I forgot to mention...I'm using the Default 2 theme by qahar. I'll go post in that topic. BTW, \" doesn't work. Cheers, J. This has nothing to do with adding slashes to quotes, because quotes are saved in database as "e; and title sometimes stripped by chara...

Re: Mixed Content Warning

Ah, that "security warning"... It actually doesn't mean anything and simply bothers site owners. In short, you can ignore it. But if you want to fix it, then you need to find, where exactly in the code some of your CSS, JS or image files are loaded via HTTP. It's hard-coded for sure, if you see this...

Re: Multi vendor different shipment fee

You probably need an extension for that. The one, that checks for manufacturer and adds a fee based on it. Not sure, if there's any, because it's a pretty specific task. But if you can assign a fee for each product separately, your task will become much easier.
