Re: [SOLVED] - Order Doesn't Get Authorize.net Response - weird email issue?

I'm still getting private messages about this. The code above works, many thousands of orders now. It seems the newer versions of OC don't send attachments in emails, so I never went beyond this code since it wasn't needed.

Re: Capture IP address of review writers.

This would be nice. Had to grep apache logs to figure out the IP of some nut job to ban the IP on CoudFlare, it'd be nice if the IP was just tagged to the reviewer.

Re: Amazon-style Expected Delivery Date

I'm experimenting with this further and now have the expected delivery showing on the checkout page which is HUGE for me. This will clear up a LOT of customer calls and emails. Here's where I'm at on a dev server /var/www/html/catalog/view/theme/journal3/template/journal3/checkout/cart.twig AFTER <s...

Re: Thank You

I managed to access the site and am now dreaming of a high performance sports car. Sadly I have champagne tastes and lemonade money. :( Most people start the addition to their garage improvements here https://www.carguygarage.com/accessories/decor/diamond-plate-switch-plates Go ahead, try s...

Re: Thank You

When I tried to open your site, it gets stuck in CloudFare DDOS protection. Outside of the US and Canada I have CloudFlare do a JS browser test before passing you to the website. Majority of non-US traffic for me is not even human. If you are in the US and got stopped, let me know your ISP. I do bl...

Re: Order Return Email Notification Not Working

Ugh, just noticed I have some returns in the system and I was never notified of them. Looks like I have a project to work on now.

Re: Possible hacker attack or just some misconfiguration?

Much simpler and faster to set up CloudFlare and let them take care of it.

Re: Cyber Monday

I have a lot more going on than just Journal that your speed tests will complain about  and much of it can't be changed. -- Let's not turn this post into yet another negative post here. Merry Christmas! ;D

Re: Cyber Monday

Thanks. Yeah Journal 3. It's pretty awesome, but you need the hardware for it. I have a lot more work to do with filters, etc, but I've been a bit tied up with API's on the back end for the CRM stuff (a system I wrote in Perl.) Plenty more to do in the next year! Very happy with the new set up!

Re: Cyber Monday

Ha, just seeing this now - been BUSY! Yes, that's CloudFlare code since you're outside of the US. Only about 5% of the requests I get on my website from outside the US are actually people. So I have CloudFlare run a test on non-US customers to check if they are using a browser (not bots) before allo...

Thank You

Just wanted to thank the guys who make OC work. The holiday orders are finally starting to slow down (much is sold out), and it's been quite a busy year. This past January was a nervous time for me switching platforms to Open Cart, but now looking back I wish I would have done it sooner. Thank you! ...

Cyber Monday

Happy Cyber Monday everyone! Glad to finally be getting to bed and calling it a day. We had the most orders in a single day yet on Open Cart and everything worked great. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Re: Opencart v3 Cloudflare >> Firewall Rules NEEDED

So I changed this up a bit, figured I'd update this post to help anyone else. The problem was that the images for my marketing emails were getting blocked for people who were outside of my targeted countries. The images were getting a JS challenge, but because they were being loaded in emails, that ...

Re: Opencart v3 Cloudflare >> Firewall Rules NEEDED

I haven't found the need to set up much in the firewall rules, although I have fail2ban running and making API calls to Cloudflare when it finds something it doesn't like. In talking with Cloudflare, it seems I may need to set up a rule to challenge anyone using x-forward-for because I'm seeing some...

Re: Sitemap script

There's a default Sitemap extension, but it sucks. I would like recommend you my Smart Sitemap extension, which gives you full control over the sitemap and was tested at least with 100K products. Should handle 200K without any issues as well. Interesting, I've just used a crontab to export a static...
