HI there

First i'd like to say thanks for this awesome project...its great! :)

Just a quick question...I have HTTPS installed. When for example users submit addtional information in the checkout process, is this information secure when added to the database?

It is transmitted over a secure connection.

The data is not encrypted and is therefore only as secure as access to your server and thus database.

You would need to check the table in the database and see if it's encrypted. It's also good practice to refresh your passwords on a regular basis using strong and unique passwords for each login (DB User, Opencart users, FTP, cPanel, etc).
