when I enter content in an Information item (Catalog > Information) ... I create the item, then I assign them to all my stores. It will not saved properly (always disables), It seems to work if I only apply to a small number of stores... is this a known issue? Is there a limit to how many stores I can put information on? I'm trying to get FAQ's on all store footers. thanks
While the OC version has not been posted, there are no limits out-of-the-box.
The most generated errors being found on Opencart forum originates from contributed programming. The increased post counters are caused by redundancies of the same solutions that were already provided prior.

OC has no limit, if there is a limit while saving, it limited in php setting.
if you have access to php setting scheck for:
max_input_vars = XXX
set XXX to 10000
