Spam in the extensions (marketplace) again...

I have been looking around at places to improve my site and there seems to be spammers again. As an example:
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=32336
The "just 3 $ For..." is on a LOT of extensions comments section.

Even more than that there seems to be a bunch of "facebook" or "FB" extensions that are not really extensions but spam.
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=40885
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=40926
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=41021

Plus a couple peppered in there like these that just seem like advertisements
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=40931
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=40889

And on it goes....

Messy.

The only3.club sells stolen stoftware and is most likely asscociated with the smartaddons.com site.

The only3 dot club has again sent spam messages to almost all extensions comments section this morning. Stay away from them, and from smartaddons, too!

I'm just surprised no one has cleaned up the marketplace. The marketplace should look professional and be trusted. In the past 8 months or so the number of extensions that are bogus has gone up above a level I've ever seen before. In fact the marketplace has been the only place I have downloaded extensions from because I felt that is the most trustworthy place to get them from.
If I had the rights I would have removed at least 10 "extensions" and started the clean up of the posts in the comment section of the extensions.
Mike

(EDIT... I do see some cleanup on posts has happened)

On Marketplace should be another category like Services hidden in admin opencart Marketplace where all non extensions/services should be moved.

After a 3-weeks break the spammer and software thief only3 dot club is back, spamming the comments section of the opencart.com marketplace under the user name yervioa (the latter will probably change again on a daily basis).

When will opencart.com implement a proper anti-spambot tool?

Until they do, please report all spam to the OpenCart team, so they know about it:

Maybe they are looking for a job. They do seem to work hard. OR maybe they should GET A REAL JOB.
This time they are very prolific and have hit a LOT of comments sections of the extensions.
Just have to shake your head at this and OC's website managers being beat at this time.

I have some experience at blocking spammers and bad traffic. I'm happy to help if the OC team ever need any. :)

Yeap! This time under the user name AydenWesley.

Why won't opencart.com implement a proper strong captcha or anti-spambot tool?

The OpenCart marketplace is being spammed again, this time by a user called pakchilweb.

It's about time opencart.com implements a proper anti spambot tool!
