I checked google webmaster tools and it showed for me lots duplicate title tags...Why it happens with opencart? Here is same pages, just sorted, but google shows it like different pages with duplicate title tags:

I have the same "problem" in google webmaster tool. I have duplicated meta descriptions and duplicated title tags because all my products are listed in more than one category. And I really don't know if it matters because OpenCart puts the "canonica"l tag in every product page.
It doesn't matter. Canonical URLs are the solution Google suggests and as you mention OpenCart has them built in.
