Product Options and Stock

I need an extension that handles product options and deducts from stock correctly.
I have done some searching but would like to get peoples input that have tried some.
Basically i have a product that i could setup with options but the stock part of this does not work.
Lets say i setup a bolt with 3 options that could have multiple options for each.
1. Thread Size

• a. 4-40
  b. 6-32
  c. 8-32

2. Thread Length

• a. 1/4"
  b.1/2"
  c. 3/4"

3. Material

• a. steel
  b. nylon

I have 100 of each product and all options except one product i only have 10 pieces, the customer can order more than 10 for that product because one of the options has more than 10.

So i am told the stock opencart product options does work with stock control but i just can not get this to work.
I have tried and tried without success.
Please, does anybody use options fro products and could you please let me know how to set the options to work.
