We have been having an issue with the Authorize.net (AIM) payment module duplicating orders. We are using OpenCart 220.127.116.11 with the web domain http://www.blendermart.com.
The issue has existed for some time beginning with only duplicate order messages being displayed to customers. We have contacted Authorize.net and their tech support said it is an issue on our end as something is causing two orders to be submitted for authorization.
In an attempt to correct this issue we added x_duplicate_window = '5' to the Authorized.net (AIM) module. This caused the duplicate order message to turn into actual duplicate orders. We have since changed this setting to x_duplicate_window = '30' due to the duplicate transactions being consistently 7 seconds apart.
This just seems to be a work-around to an underlying bug. I am not an experienced web developer and need some help on this issue.
