Remove "sign up for newsletter" option

Can anybody tell me how to remove the "sign up for newsletter" option from new customer registration?

i.E., by use of this:

as shown in the image below. I my case, it works swell !
And it's better to be hidden only from view, that just code-wise removing the entire Section.
The Newsletter setting in the Customer Section will then be set to disabled, by default.
