Language code in url in a multilanguage store

Now I know this has been asked before but I haven't found anything for my specific opencart version (2.3.0.2).

I have a multilanguage store and I want my urls to change according to the selected language:

https://domain.com/producturl (english version, as "main" language)
https://doimain.com/fr/producturl (french version as additional language)

I have seen expensions, that let you change the seo url accordning to the langauge selected, but that is too much for me and I do not really need that. I do not want to have to edit every single product I have (20k in all).

The seo url can stay the same, I just need that /en/ or /fr/ part to be added.

Does anyone know how to do it or can someone recommend a working module?
I haven't found anything.
