Dear all,
I got a problem with Paypal Pro module.

Details about OC:
base language - EN_GB
Currency - USD.
Theme - Revolution
OpenCart Version 2.3.0.2
Paypal Pro + PayPal Express Checkout installed

I come across an issue with orders, that is done through Direct Credit or Debit Card Payment (Processed securely by PayPal). While PayPal Express checkout works properly, direct credit card payment proceeds successfully but doesn’t transfer the order information (SKU, Product Name, etc ), but only show quantity and price.

Until now, no modifications were done to php/tpl files of the extension.

Anyone else experienced this issue and know of a solution?

Are you using PayPal Pro provided from the core? If so, enable the Debug Mode from the OC admin - > extensions - > extensions - > payments - > PayPal Pro page. Then, set your store under maintenance from your OC admin - > systems - > settings - > edit settings - > server tab - > maintenance mode: On. On the top of your OC admin, right on the left-end side of the log out link, select your store on the drop-down menu link and try a test payment again from checkout.

Afterwards, take a look at the error logs from your OC admin - > systems - > maintenance - > error logs page or back from your OC admin payments page under the Log tab (if applies) for any errors.

Thanks for the reply!
i tried to set up maintenance mode and proceed with test payment - payment completed but still, no order details show while payment with credit card directly.(please, see attached paypal screenshot)

Logs from error logs page don't show any errors, except couple PHP Warnings of V2Cache extension (tried to turn it off and do another test payment - nothing happens).

Any suggestions?

If the issue keeps on-going, I would suggest to create a service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum or to contact me directory to get this resolved as a custom job. A simple screenshot as opposed to the steps you may have tried to do and the way you did it may not provide enough information to the support team to determine the root cause.

Have a confirmed email address.
Verify your PayPal account.
Set PayPal Account Optional to On within your PayPal settings (see the next paragraph).

What does the debug mode logs indicates after enabling it and trying a transaction?

The PayPal Pro payment extension that comes with OpenCart doesn't support sending the items to PayPal. You would have to modify it (or get a developer to) or see if there is a third party extension that does.
