Is there a way to include filters when a user does a product search?

Not sure why I would need to include a screenshot and URL for such an enquiry. In OC 2.0.3.1 'filters' are not looked up by the standard search. I'm merely asking if there's a way to enable this.

Give us an example, what sort of filters do you mean? By category or brand?

Hi Paul,
I have created numerous filter groups such as gender, theme, style, chain length etc. Each filter group contains filters for example the 'style' group contains filters such as ravens, unicorns, angel's & demons etc

I have applied the relevant filters to each product. However; when I do a product search for 'ravens' using the standard search bar, it does not return all the products that have been applied the 'ravens' filter as I believe the database query is not set up to look in the filters table.

OK forced to do a work around. Luckily my friend is a bit of a php guru and has made me a script that adds the filter names to the product tags which the standard search includes in it's lookup.
