Hi, i am exploring following issue - i let update php on my hosting server to 7.3, considering to start work on update to 3.0.3.7. Unfortunatelly, 3.0.3.7 doesnt work on current PHP 7.0 on server, and current instalaltion 2.2 doesnt work on PHP 7.3 - pointing to error in /system/library, something with "expire" function or what. Has anyone same experience? Is it possible to fix 7.3 incompatibility for OC 2.2.0?

Thank you for advise.

OpenCart 2.x will work on PHP 7.3. It may need some minor tweaks, such as making sure you set DB_DRIVER to mysqli in the config.php files and updating the encryption class.

The error message will help know what to search the forums for.

I didnt make a screenshot of the error, and error log must be cleared due its size - it was something Undefined variable: expire.
I found probably solution a while ago, https://www.huntbee.com/opencart/freebi ... e-opencart

I will switch my server to PHP 7.3 in the evening and try it. Thanks!

Simply clear your error logs and try again. This isn't a recording.

Do you have a spare domain? You could install the new version on that spare domain while it's under development and should have the ability to run a different PHP version on each domain.
