SMTP Email error > EHLO not accepted from server

When the SMTP is used then i get
Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: Error: EHLO not accepted from server! in /homepages/18/d462754075/htdocs/Opencart/system/storage/modification/system/library/mail.php:213
This error when i submit the form.
It was going well a week ago but the issue is occurring since a week ago.
I am using Opencart Version 2.3.0.2

since it is a modification file - did you add a modification ?
and have you contacted your service provider?

The SMTP details works in newly installed opencart but it is not working on the one which is it supposed to work.
Is it issue of SIte or hosting?

If the newly install OpenCart works, was install on the same hosting account and was the same version. Then the issue is more likely to be with the extension that is modifying the mail library or a mistake entering your settings.
