google shopping: "Maximum number of subaccounts reached"

Greetings. I am on step 2 of configuring google shopping. Here I selected the option "Use an account managed by OpenCart", checked the box agreeing to comply with Google's terms and policies, then clicked the big blue "Proceed" button. Here is the result
Possibly Opencart is simply maxed out on the number of users, and I will be forced to create my own Google Merchant Center account. As I have no idea what that may entail, I thought it worth asking here first if there's a way to increase the subaccount limit. Note that I am running opencart 3.0.3.2. Thanks!
