1) On Order confirmation it is Giving a error messages simply saying as "error" - I have set SMTP for mail with all necessary parameters. When a select Mail option instead of SMTP then this error changes and give Syntex error : unexpected token < in json at position 0 ........
2) I have tried both gmail and company email setting but this error is not getting removed - however in between once i got the order completed with thanks messages but in this case also there was no mail received either on customer email id nor on company email
Check both the OpenCart error log and the PHP error log. This should tell you what the true error is.
that is an error message about an error message so it would be helpful if you show the whole thing instead of .......
