Check your storage path is correct and has proper permissions.

Also storage dir should be outside your public webspace for security reasons.

Got it, page now loads all looks good, but from the admin side whenever trying to save a ny kind of change I get this, guessing I need to change the permission somewhere ??

Check your hosting cPanel and see if It has mod-security enabled. Most likely its triggering a rule, you may have to contact your host on this one.

Ok, disabling mod security now allows me to save changes from the admin side and place store in maintenance mode

BUT, when placing a order through the store the order does not show up at the admin side, RECENT ACTIVITY shows someone placed a order but the order is nowhere to be found ...

It was just a wrong password in the email settings, changed it while moving servers.

Cleared the cache and sass theme on the admin side and now getting this on the admin side :

A lot of people like the full html email same as customer gets instead of order alert which is rubbish anyway.
I have an OCMod for it if you want to try it
