RE: Opencart v3.0.3.7

I've read several posts here on how to remove the extra decimals in the length, width and height and the one that seemed easiest and most promising was to change the decimal setting in the database table, which I tried to do.

I wanted to change the decimal value from (15,8) to (15,2) with the default as 0.00, however I keep getting this SQL error message:

< Query error: #1067 - Invalid default value for 'date_available' > so it won't let me save the change.

I am too afraid to mess with what might be something else I need to do and that is to set the attribute as seen in the image. (purely guessing this is the problem)

Can someone shed some light on the cause of the error and whether this approach is the best to adjust the decimal limit.

What database and version are you using. What is the exact query for the change you are trying to make?
