Hello, hello.
After some hours spent trying to do an upgrade, I deleted all the opencart files from the server, ready to do a clean install of the latest version (3.0.3.8 )
All files and directories in the UPLOAD folder was transfered to the server.
Renamed the config - files both in the root- and the admin directory.
Renamed the .htaccess -file.
After openeing up MS EDGE and typing in the store http, the Install- window comes up, "1/4 License agreement". Looking good.
After pressing the "Continue" button, it stalls. " This page isn’t working right now" and this shows at the URL- adress: ."...install/index.php?route=install/step_1"
Anyone have any idea to get it running?
Thanks
RS

Well- tried some different things... No luck; BUT:
Installing using same MySql database as last install: Maybe I have to delete all files present there?
Update:
Deleted everything in previous database. No difference. Downloaded the install file again and uploaded it. No difference.
PLZ help before I go to WooCommerce...

You should be using your exsiting config files if you're doing an upgrade. The install URL will detect that and take you to the upgrade screen instead of the install screen.

Hello & thank you.
First; the error log only show previous messages I got on screen while trying to do the upgrade. Nothing on the new install. I treid to do the install once more today; same things happen. Nothing in the error- log.
I could try with the old files, but as I have said, the upgrade has been abandoned.
Could itr be a problem with only MySql and not MySqli on the server?

Chances are there are some entries in your server's error log, ask your webhost for it, for the exact time the error happened.
