It may from interest for some business, that from the 1st January 2020 the CCPA is in effect.

What that means in detail, will follow.
Basically it is the Californian version of the GDPR (General Data Protection Rule) which is already valid since the 25th May 2018.
And the CCPA is in many points similiar to the GDPR, one major difference is that customers (website visitors) do have the right to Opt-Out from the usage of "Personal Data" - while the GDPR has only a "Opt-In" for such.

And here we go, the US has come to an agreement with those claims. This should be addressed on Github as well.
