Parent category not showing in breadcrumbs and autocomplete

Hi,

I noticed the breadcrumbs for subcategories doesn't display the parent category. Is there an easy fix for this? For example, instead of this:

Home > Baseball > Baseball Bats

it shows this:

Home > Baseball Bats.

And if I go to a specific product like "32" blue baseball bat" it shows this:

Home > Baseball Bats > 32" blue baseball bat

I've read other posts where people say the breadcrumbs will not show if you go directly to the product from the homepage. But this is not the case with our website.

Also, when editing products/categories the autocomplete only searches from the last subcategory instead of the parent category and other subcategories. How can I fix that?
