Hi

I have recently installed and set up 1.4.9.4 - all seemed to be working well. I am in the UK used on the Royal Mail shipping options - these were displaying correctly until the other day. I am now getting the following error message when starting to checkout ...

Error: No Shipping options are available. Please contact us for assistance!

I don't know what I might have changed. I have shipping, etc. set up for All Zones.

Can anyone offer any help please?
Cheers...Bob

Check your Geo-zones and the settings in your shipping method.

Thanks - as far as I can see, they are correct.

I have a default Geo-Zone called UK Shipping which has Country=United Kingdom / All Zones.

In my Royal Mail shipping preferences, I have Geo Zone = UK Shipping.

Is that not correct?

What is the Location you have set for your Store in your Admin and what is the location of the account you test with?

No-one has this problem, your must have set something wrong.

I cannot see it from here what it could be.

This problem can occur if you don't have the weight options set correctly. Try setting the weight class in the RM shipping module to Grams and in Admin->System->Settings->Local to Kilograms

Please report back how you get on.

Cheers!

You only stumbled on your lack of ability to search or use the new Tutorial/FAQ section:
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=142&t=30707

I am going to add some code to the forum that will require you to browse the Faq/Tutorials section before showing the New Post button

Forgive me, Q, but the FAQ you refer to does not give an explicit solution to this particular problem with the RM shipping module - or am I missing something? Good plan on the requirement to have actively scrutinised the FAQs/Tutorials though :-)

This isn't a specific shipping module issue. It is the default message when the stars don't align for any shipping method to be activated. I've actually removed the word "ERROR" as it just confuses people. It isn't an error. It just means you don't have any shipping options for the current cart/customer conditions

Must be something else then, as I've had it working this way fine in 1.4.9.5

Have you checked the setup of Geozones? I think it should be 'All Zones', not just UK based zones.

Also, the max weight for certain Royal Mail overseas services is 2kg - e.g. the international Signed.

I think that answers my issue. I may need to configure parcelforce to go beyond that 2kg limit since they use parcelforce for large parcel. Correct?

Yes, you can download their international price lists from the parcelforce website. Likely as not, the ones on 1.4.9.5 are out of date.
