Hello,
I seem to have a problem with;
If a customer clicks on "My Account", logs in and then clicks back on any of the other menu items, it shows that they are no longer logged in. The same goes for if a customer logs in, adds an item to their cart then clicks on checkout, it shows they are no longer logged in and it will not allow them to checkout at all. I did check it and it appears that on the customer log in page, the web address is https:// where it supposed to be, but on the checkout link it is http://. Is this the problem and if so what do I need to do to fix it.
Thank you for any help.
If you want to test it for yourself I do not mind, the site is http://www.yummysmilinjacks.com/shop.
Your SSL certificate seems not to be configured correctly
Do you own the SSL cert for www.yummysmilinjacks.com ?
Or did you just enter it thinking it would work ?
If you own it then you need to contact your SSL supplier as it seems to be not installed correctly

TY for the reply, I use ipage for hosting so the actual SSL address is different. it has to have my domain name plus ipage.com in it. https://yummysmilinjackscom.ipage.com/shop. But apparently it does not work off the main domain I'm calling them to see why. Thanks again for the reply.
OpenCart does not work with Shared SSL certs out of the box.
You will either need an extension (see list of my extensions in my sig) or you will need to acquire a dedicated SSL Certificate that matches your domain

Hi uksitebuilder,
I have the exact same problem as smilinjacks.
The secure is a subdomain of mydomain.com
If I purchase your extension (UKSB Shared SSL Support), will it solve the problem above?
I have another question. does it mean that whenever I update or put any extra file into mydomain.com, I have to copy it to the secure folder too?
Thanks for your help.

I have just purchased a dedicated SSL Certificate with https://secure.mydomain.com (not https://www.mydomain.com)smilinjacks wrote:If a customer clicks on "My Account", logs in and then clicks back on any of the other menu items, it shows that they are no longer logged in. There should be no need to upload files to the secure folder.
There was a problem on the forums a while ago where the user was using plesk control panel and hadn't ticked an option to Use the same folder for Secure and non-secure domains.
My Shared SSL Extension should work fine.
