deposits or partial payments

Hi,

One of my categories is live plants. I want to require a 25% deposit on any plant order with the balance due on pickup/shipment. I have scoured the forums and have not found an answer as to how to go about this.

Is there a way to do this with the standard opencart or is there an extension that will do this?

I am using 1.5.1.3 and it is a fresh install.

Anyone know if there is a solution?

There is no option to make partial payments. You have to make the payment in full.

Thank you for your response. Since my research on this showed zilch, I thought this would be the case. I'll have to figure some other way to handle deposits/partial payments.
