Hey guys, surely im not the only one that realised that so many stores arent working in IE10 ? I just noticed mine wasnt, so starting looking around at other stores and noticed you cant add products to the cart, cant add to wishlist, compare etc etc.
If i put it in compatability mode it works. Whats going on!
( I am running 1.5.4)

this quite often happens when during install oc is installed from http://yoursite.com and then it is visisted from http://www.yoursite.com.
OC sees this as 2 different urls.
in that case dicede wich url you want edit config.php in root and admin folder, to reflect correct url.
in some cases a htaccess rewrite to correct url is needed to make sure it always works correct.

I just spotted this post. Obviously I am not the only one having this problem.
This IE10 problem is common to every Opencart site I've tried, including the live demo on the official Opencart website.
I have come up with a workaround that works, which you can find here:

Same here,
When I visit http://demo.opencart.com/ I can see everything OK but when I click on anything that uses ajax, it does not do anything.
F12 shows that I am viewing the site in IE10 with "standards" mode.
As the previous poster mentioned, if I change mode to 'internet explorer 9 standards', all works ok.
I get this problem from 2 machines at home with a virgin unused IE10 cause I only use firefox by default.
Obviously it is MY browsers, however, can some moderators chime in here and let us know how their IE10 is doing?
FYI, my "compatibility view" list is empty, I have all updates etc. Happens with both 32 & 64 bit IE.
I am on Win7 x64, professional SP1. IE 10.0.9200.16686.
PS. Seems like JSON comes back undefined in the addtocart call.
This is a real head-in.
