adding a new store in a directory

Hi
I have a bilingual/bizonal store.
For geotargeting purpose I need to add a new store in a new directory (I do not want a subddomain).
I would like to clone all the store and database in the new directory and then make the necessary changes there.
Is it possible? May be a new oc installation?
How?

Hi again,
I made two installations: one in the root and one in a directory.

When I open the site in the directory (http://www.root/dir/site) I clic on any link and remain under the /dir/ site, but when I click again I go to the http://www.root/site bypassing the /dir/ directory.

The paths in the config files are all pointig OK and also the db, so what can be the problem?
