I have noticed that a few people are after this and asked in the forums but had no reply.
I am after having the slideshow on the homepage to be full width 100%
Is there a way to do this with the Nivo slider that comes with opencart?
I have managed to move the slider outside of the content div, but having issues editing the width.
Or is there a extension that can be bought for this?
Find the js .css and the .js for it and change it there. Those files are veritable zoos (found under both the catalog/ and the admin/ directories view/javascript). Be certain to have a safety copy first.
[Edit, added:] If you manually force it, you'll be setting width to "100%" where needed, and you can trim it to a lesser percentage. If you slide it instead, code will execute that on the fly.
