Anyone using the Google custom search engine on their store? Can you share your url so I can see?
I notice people searching on my site with words that aren't exact matches. The simple example would be looking for a plural version of a word when the product is named with a singular version, which returns zero results. The complex example would be bad spelling. I have tried these searches using the Google CSE, and I get the results the customer was looking for so it seems to be the way to go.
I see there are multiple ways to go about setting up the Google CSE, and the complex API version seems to be the way to make things look much better for the user experience -

I just haven't had time to dive into how the default code works, so I'm not sure what might be involved. Searching for an extension that already does this hasn't turned up anything promising yet. If anyone has experience here, I'm all ears. Thanks.

Thanks, but looks like it doesn't work with OC 3 or Journal
