Hi all,
Customers now receive plain text saying the order status has changed or their order has been placed. I want this e-mail to be something more colorful. I have changed the text using the language files, as I couldn't find any other way. But how do you change the order confirmation and order status mail to an e-mail with some custom responsive HTML code and CSS styling? Is there a file with the HTML of this e-mail in it?

The best option would be to use an extension from the Marketplace or to create a new Service Request in the Commercial Support section of the forum, or to contact Opencart partners, to get this done as a custom job.

I can write HTML and CSS fluently, just not PHP and JS.
Is there any other option to get this done myself?

You'd need to edit your catalog/controller/mail/order.php and your catalog/view/theme/<your_theme>/template/mail/order_x.twig files.jonagoldapple wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 7:35 pmI can write HTML and CSS fluently, just not PHP and JS.

I can't find any extension that allows me to edit the order confirmation mail. If I get this done as a custom job, will I be able to edit the HTML and CSS of this order e-mail anytime?
By creating a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum, contact a reliable Opencart partner or contact me directly, yes this can be achieved.jonagoldapple wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 8:06 pmI can't find any extension that allows me to edit the order confirmation mail.
