Add Quantity to Cart from Category Page

I'm currently running version 3.0.3.6 with the Default theme and no currently installed extensions.

I'm trying to figure out how to edit the code to allow customers to specify item quantity from the Category page instead of the button that adds only one item at a time.

I have also tried the recommended (free) extension specified in that post, also with no luck.

Does anyone know of a good guide on how to make these changes?

I'm not looking to have that particular extension fixed, I was noting that it was a solution that I have already tried. I would prefer a hard coded solution for my application.

OC3.0.3.6 have you cleared the log tab (bottom red) and then refresh (top yellow)

(although the extension does not say it works on 3.0.3.6 - I see no reason it won’t)

If you can't find a guide, you could pay a developer such as ourselves or post a job in the Commercial Support Forum.
