Hi,
We activated captcha for our "register" for an account after it was being spammed.
That worked for about 2 months. The bots appear to have got around this as we are now being flooded with automated registrations again.
Is there a fix for this?

No problem re OC version - but it is required 9/10 questions - so .. maybe just add it to your footer 
Re spam: Well personally I would use the capabilities of the big internet corporation and enforce their removal by law - but as yet the powers that be just can’t seem to get a grasp on how dangerous the internet actually is - so as it stands - no matter what you do eventually these people find a way around it.
The problem is that what ever is used is “general” i.e. easy to get around - get around one - and they post it online - have competitions - do it for fun - want to become government operatives - the list is endless ..

The built-in OpenCart captchas, as well as some of the 3rd party captcha extensions, are easily bypassed by the modern spambots. Hence captchas won't offer much of a protection anymore.
